Fear Free Dog Grooming and Training throughout Northumberland, UK
Our Puppy School is the perfect way to give your new pup the best start in life.
This 5 week course runs every Monday, 6pm at Stobhill Community Centre.
Our classes are kept small to ensure we can give each pup the individual attention they need.
We cover all the essential skills you and your pup will need, in a friendly and fun environment. Classes are ran regularly, but do have limited spaces. To see when our next class is or to grab your space please click the link below.

Our 1-2-1 dog training service is tailored to you and your four-legged friend, with a bespoke training plan created to meet your specific needs.
Our experienced trainers will come to your chosen location, covering all of Northumberland, to provide you and your dog with the best possible training. This could be anything from puppy biting to reactivity.

1-2-1 Training
We provide a one-on-one, fear-free experience for all breeds at our salon in Guidepost. Our experienced body language specialist will ensure your pup is comfortable, relaxed, and well groomed using only natural, vegan products that won't irritate their skin or overwhelm their sensitive little noses. Prices start from £43, but will vary depending on your dog's breed and grooming needs.
If your dog struggles to be groomed without showing extreme signs of stress, we'd recommend trying our 'Gradual Grooming' Programme (see directly below).

Online Training
Our Online Dog Training service is perfect for busy pet parents who want to give their pup the best, whilst working to a schedule that suits them. Through virtual Zoom sessions, you can talk to an experienced and certified dog trainer who will help you better understand your dog's behaviour, demonstrate activities and games, as well as provide guidance on how to successfully train your furry friend.
This service is ideal for dogs that have separation anxiety or reactivity to people and is available across the UK.
So whether you are preparing for your first puppy and want to get things right from the start, or you need to talk to someone that truly understands dog behaviour, we can help!

Overcoming the Fear of dogs in children
Our Kids Around Dogs Approved Professional has undergone training to help children (aged 4 to 11) overcome their fear of dogs once and for all.
Because dogs are everywhere, both as pets and in working roles, having a child that is afraid of dogs can be a real struggle - for them as well as you. Days in the park, trips to the beach and even a walk to the shops could become triggering, and impact what is supposed to be a carefree time in your child's life. We help your child change their mindset around dogs by using Cognitive Behavioural Techniques over 10 sessions (7 of which are online) to help your child learn to see dogs in a different light as well as learning how to read dog's body language and what to do if your child is approached by a strange dog. Sessions are age-appropriate, fun and engaging, with easy tasks to involve all the family in. This course is available to children in the North East of England.

Gradual Grooming programme
Grooming can be quite a stressful experience for dogs. It's typically the longest they are away from their owner, plus the noise, smells, brushing, drying, clipping and handling can be overwhelming for even the most laid back pooch. For dogs that show extreme signs of stress for grooming and handling, the Gradual Grooming programme is the perfect solution. This is a Behaviour Modification and training course designed to help your dog overcome their fear of grooming, broken down into 30 minute, fun and rewarding sessions for your dog. We are the only Fear Free Certified Groomers in the North East that offer this service and have lots of success in reducing the amount of stress dogs feel during grooming.
